a first draft for BSS Standard and BSS Data Infrastructure is developed through the BSS Infrastructure work stream.
This first draft of a Code of Practice (CoP) / Guideline for NZ Species Abundance Data Exchange has been developed through the BSS project and consists of the following components.

The New Zealand Organisms Register shall be used as the preferred reference for identifying observed taxa in observations / records.
New Zealand Methods and Protocols Register
This Register shall be used as the preferred reference for identifying protocols and methods used as part of the observations / records.
